If you're new to comics or a lifelong fan, you'll enjoy our monthly meetings to discuss the great and near great of graphic novels. Comics for adults are a burgeoning art form that any literate person should familiarize themselves with. Each month, a different club member picks a selection that we'll all read and discuss at our monthly meetings. This club is about reading and discussing science, horror and fantasy fiction, old and new. We are looking for members interested in a wide variety of books within these genres.
This is a group for writers of all levels who are actively working on developing their craft. You can be working on anything, but the key words here are "active" and "working". We are a community of writers who like to get together with our fellow writers and exchange ideas, lend support and gentle and constructive critique. We will meet twice monthly on Wednesday evenings for a light meal and to share our work and to socialize and network with our peers.
